so this is 30

so this is thirty.

as with age 

i become obsolete in the eyes of society, 

i discover the peace 

that comes with accepting

life is meant to be lived,

not worried, overanalyzed and nitpicked.

i am grateful

to all i've seen and experienced

and received and witnessed,

i pray to the universe

that the next decade brings on 

more of the good stuff--

new experiences, beautiful memories, iconic shit.

my resolution for this year is

think twice before saying no to new experiences.

the thing i'm most grateful for heading into thirty--
