i hate holi now

 i'm very upset right now

and this might be a bitter rant.

i saw the stifling of my inner child today.

in my heart i was very excited to be playing holi

but as the day progressed,

no one in my family seemed interested

and my oh so lovely sisters had plans of their own.

so i sulked and i cried

and i felt sorry for myself

but i didn't get to play holi.

my favorite festival.

really makes me wonder

why i had to stifle my inner child.
