 mamu doesn't tell papa she loves him

(sometimes she does, but that isn't the point).

instead she gets him a warm blanket

in winter

so that he doesn't freeze while asleep.

she scolds me when i don't study.

she scoffs at me to get things done.

but when i'm coughing on a cold night,

she nestles me into a warm blanket

so that i don't cough anymore.

mamu intuitively knows what needs to be done

and she does it--

comforting everyone around her,

and that is how she shows love.
